The MF103 uses a nominal 103 mm internal diameter at the MAF sensor, providing 8,332 square mm of cross-sectional area and maintaining the stock-size MAF cross section. This gives the KBLS2CONV Halltech's MF103 Killer Bee bridge architecture without moving to the larger 108 mm MAF section of the MF108.
The MF103 bridge size should not be confused with the tuning requirements of the complete LS2 conversion package. Although the MF103 maintains the stock-size MAF cross section, KBLS2CONV still requires tuning because the system converts the 2005-2007 LS2 to a probe-style MAF arrangement.
103 mm Throttle-Body and PCV Configuration
This version is configured for a Nick Williams 103 mm throttle body using Halltech's proprietary 4-ply black silicone hump hose. The connector is 3 inches long, measures approximately 4.5 inches at the Killer Bee end and approximately 4.25 inches at the Nick Williams throttle-body end, and includes stainless steel hose clamps.
This specific connector is ordered with the PCV nipple hole for PCV capability. Halltech offers the PCV fitting as an optional purchase, so the presence of the PCV hole does not mean the separate fitting is included.
LS2 Probe-Style MAF Conversion
The KBLS2CONV is more than a conventional cold air intake. Halltech designed the package to convert the 2005-2007 C6 LS2 to a later probe-style MAF arrangement.
