Halltech designed the Beehive as both a heat shield and ram air induction shroud. The laser-cut ABS construction creates a physical barrier between the filter and hot engine-bay air, helping the cold air intake work in a more isolated environment. Halltech reports gains of up to 15 horsepower during its testing with the Beehive installed. Important Installation Information
Halltech specifically recommends against cutting additional holes in the Corvette radiator shroud in an attempt to direct more air toward the filter after installing the Beehive.
