Important Fuel Compatibility and Care Information
Do not use IS168-2150H injectors with VP Import, Q16, or other MTBE oxygenated fuels. The internal construction of the 2150cc injector contains a seal that can swell when exposed to MTBE. This swelling can significantly reduce injector flow, making the injector unsuitable for MTBE oxygenated fuels. Proper injector care is also important when using alcohol-based fuels such as E85 because prolonged periods of disuse while the injectors remain exposed to alcohol-based fuel may create potential corrosion issues.
