This is not simply a higher-capacity replacement for the factory pump assembly. The Fore Innovations 91-900 is designed to operate as part of a complete standalone return-style fuel system using external feed and return lines, external filtration, external fuel pressure regulation, an upgraded electrical system, professional installation, and custom tuning. For triple-pump configurations, Fore recommends operating one pump continuously and activating the secondary pumps under load.
Triple Pump Capability for 900+ RWHP Builds
The 91-900 is designed to accommodate three fuel pumps and provide the fuel delivery capability required by serious forced-induction and other high-output Coyote F-150 combinations. When incorporated into an appropriately configured return-style fuel system, the module is intended for applications producing 900+ rear-wheel horsepower.
Fore recommends running one fuel pump full time and activating the additional pumps as fuel demand increases under load. This staged configuration allows the system to provide substantial fuel capacity when required without unnecessarily operating all three high-output pumps continuously.
Retains Factory Fuel Level Sender and EVAP Functionality
Despite being designed for a standalone high-performance fuel system, the Fore Innovations Triple Pump Module retains the OE fuel level sender and EVAP functionality. This allows the module to provide the foundation for a substantially upgraded fuel delivery system while retaining these important factory functions.
Complete Return-Style Fuel System Required
The 91-900 must be used as part of a complete return-style fuel system. Installation requires external feed and return fuel lines, external filtration for the injectors, external fuel pressure regulation, and an upgraded electrical system capable of properly supporting the high-output fuel pumps.
Boost-referenced fuel pressure regulation is recommended, and upgraded fuel rails are recommended for most applications. Proper component selection, placement, hose routing, wiring, and tuning are essential to creating a complete system capable of safely supporting the intended power level.
2015-2017 F-150 Fuel Supply
On 2015-2017 5.0L Coyote F-150 applications, the system is designed to supply the port fuel injection system. It can also support an optional small wet nitrous system when the complete fuel system is properly configured for the additional fuel demand.
2018-2023 F-150 Fuel Supply
On 2018-2023 5.0L Coyote F-150 applications, the system supplies the High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP), port injection, and an optional small wet nitrous system.
These applications also require a flow-through T-block mounted directly on the HPFP inlet tube. Fore Innovations suggests using dual matching regulators when maximizing system output and recommends its F1i or F2i regulators for this configuration.
E85 Fuel Pump Requirements
For applications running E85, Fore Innovations specifies the use of compatible high-performance fuel pumps. E85 configurations require F90000267, F90000274, or F90000285 fuel pumps.
Do not select an incompatible pump configuration when the vehicle will be operated on E85. Fuel compatibility must be considered when configuring the complete system.
Professional Installation and Custom Tuning Required
This component is part of a standalone fuel system and requires professional installation and a custom tune. The installer and tuner must be qualified to interface the system with the OE harness and Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM), understand correct component placement and hose routing, and configure the completed vehicle with factory-like fuel pump prime and on/off logic without producing error codes.
Fore Innovations supplies basic system schematics and detailed component-level instructions. Fore can also provide troubleshooting assistance regarding the performance and function of the supplied fuel system components.
Fore Innovations does not provide assistance with integration into the OE harness, ECU integration or tuning, or the elimination of alarm codes or Check Engine Lights (CELs). These responsibilities must be handled by the qualified installer and tuner completing the vehicle.
Fuel Temperature and Fuel Level Requirements
High-output fuel pumps generate substantially more heat and fuel capacity than the original fuel system. The F-150's composite fuel tank acts as an insulator and can retain the additional heat generated by the high-powered pumps. The shape of the factory fuel tank also limits the pickup capacity available to the upgraded system.
Because of these characteristics, the driver must maintain a higher-than-normal fuel level in the tank at all times. Keeping sufficient fuel in the tank is necessary to help control fuel system temperatures, minimize the possibility of heat-related damage, and maintain adequate fuel pickup during vehicle operation.
