Fore Innovations Dual Pump Fuel Module (91-800) - 2015-2026 Ford F-150 5.0L Coyote
Build a high-capacity return-style fuel system for your 2015-2026 Ford F-150 5.0L Coyote with the Fore Innovations Dual Pump Fuel Module. Designed to support dual fuel pumps as part of a complete return-style system, the 91-800 provides the fuel delivery foundation for approximately 800-900 RWHP applications while retaining the OE fuel level sender and EVAP functionality.
Fore recommends operating one fuel pump continuously and activating the secondary pump under load. This staged configuration provides additional fuel capacity as engine demand increases while avoiding the need to operate both high-output pumps continuously.
The 91-800 is a component of a complete standalone fuel system and is not a drop-in replacement for the factory fuel system by itself. External feed and return lines, external filtration, external fuel pressure regulation, an upgraded electrical system, professional installation, and custom tuning are required.
Dual Pump Capability for 800-900 RWHP
The Fore Innovations 91-800 is designed for dual fuel pump configurations supporting approximately 800-900 rear-wheel horsepower when incorporated into a properly configured complete return-style fuel system. This makes it an excellent foundation for high-powered Coyote F-150 builds that require substantially more fuel capacity than the original system can provide.
Fore recommends running one pump full time and activating the second pump under load. Proper pump staging allows the secondary pump to provide additional fuel delivery as engine load and fuel demand increase.
Retains OE Fuel Level Sender and EVAP Functionality
Although the 91-800 is designed around a standalone return-style fuel system, it retains the OE fuel level sender and EVAP functionality. This allows the upgraded fuel system to provide significantly increased capacity while retaining these important factory functions.
Complete Return-Style Fuel System Required
The Fore Innovations 91-800 must be used in conjunction with a complete return-style fuel system. The module requires external feed and return lines, external filtration for the injectors, external fuel pressure regulation, and an upgraded electrical system capable of properly supporting the high-output fuel pumps.
Boost-referenced fuel pressure regulation is recommended. Upgraded fuel rails are also recommended for most applications. Proper sizing and configuration of every component in the system is critical when supporting high-horsepower combinations.
2015-2017 F-150 Fuel Supply
For 2015-2017 5.0L Coyote F-150 applications, the return-style fuel system supplies the port injection system. The system can also supply an optional small wet nitrous system when appropriately configured for the additional fuel demand.
2018-2023 F-150 Fuel Supply
For 2018-2023 5.0L Coyote F-150 applications, the system supplies the High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP), port injection, and an optional small wet nitrous system.
These applications also require a flow-through T-block mounted directly on the HPFP inlet tube. When maximizing fuel system output, Fore Innovations suggests using dual matching regulators and recommends Fore F1i or F2i regulators for this configuration.
E85 Fuel Pump Requirements
Fuel pump selection is especially important when the vehicle will be operated on E85. Fore Innovations specifies the F90000267, F90000274, or F90000285 fuel pumps for E85 applications using this module.
E85 applications require F90000267, F90000274, or F90000285 pumps. The complete fuel system must be configured with components appropriate for the fuel being used.
Professional Installation Required
This module is part of a standalone fuel system and requires professional installation. Qualified installers must understand correct component placement and hose routing and must be capable of properly interfacing the upgraded system with the OE harness and Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM).
The completed vehicle must retain proper factory-like fuel pump prime and on/off logic without producing error codes. Installation of a system at this level requires a qualified professional who understands both the aftermarket fuel system and its interaction with the factory vehicle electronics.
Custom Tuning Required
A custom tune is required for this component and the associated fuel system to function properly. Fore Innovations provides detailed assistance regarding the function of the components it supplies, along with basic system schematics and detailed component-level instructions.
Fore Innovations can also assist with troubleshooting the performance and function of its fuel system and components. However, Fore does not provide assistance with integration into the OE harness, ECU integration or tuning, or elimination of alarm codes or Check Engine Lights (CELs). These responsibilities must be handled by the qualified installer and tuner completing the vehicle.
Fuel Heat and Minimum Fuel Level Considerations
High-output fuel pumps generate substantially more heat and capacity than the original F-150 fuel system. The high-powered pumps produce considerably more heat than the factory pump, while the composite construction of the factory fuel tank acts as an insulator and stores heat.
The shape of the factory fuel tank also limits the pickup capacity of the upgraded fuel system. Because of these characteristics, the driver must maintain more fuel than normal in the tank at all times. Maintaining an adequate fuel level is necessary to help minimize heat-related damage and ensure sufficient fuel pickup.
