Step up to a complete high-performance fuel solution for your 2018-2026 Ford F-150 5.0L Coyote with the Fore Innovations L2 Dual Pump Fuel System. Designed to support approximately 900 RWHP, the 91-622 combines a dual-pump in-tank supply system with twin fuel pressure regulation, billet fuel rails, upgraded feed and return lines, high-capacity filtration, a check valve, HPFP T-block, and the fittings and hardware required for typical fuel system plumbing.
The L2 is engineered to supply both the High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) and port injection system, with additional capability for a small wet nitrous system when properly configured. Its twin-regulated design provides static-referenced fuel pressure to the HPFP while separately delivering MAP-referenced fuel pressure to the port injection system. The system is also E85 capable when configured with the required fuel pumps and filtration.
900 RWHP Dual Pump Fuel System
The Fore Innovations L2 is designed to support approximately 900 rear-wheel horsepower with a properly configured dual-pump setup. Fore recommends operating one fuel pump full time and activating the secondary pump under load, allowing the additional pump capacity to come online as engine load and fuel demand increase.
This staged-pump strategy is particularly useful in street-driven high-horsepower applications because it avoids unnecessarily operating both high-output pumps continuously.
Twin-Regulated Fuel Delivery
A key advantage of the L2 system is its twin-regulated fuel pressure configuration. Two high-capacity Fore Innovations F2i fuel pressure regulators independently address the requirements of the High Pressure Fuel Pump and port injection system.
The primary regulator supplies static-referenced fuel pressure to the HPFP, while the secondary regulator provides MAP-referenced fuel pressure to the port injection system. This configuration is specifically designed around the fuel delivery requirements of high-output Coyote applications using both direct and port injection.
Fuel Pressure Settings
- Primary F2i Regulator: Set to 58 psi with atmosphere reference for the HPFP.
- Secondary F2i Regulator: Set to 43 psi with MAP reference for the port injection system.
- Under Boost: The primary regulator will match the secondary regulator when the secondary regulator's base pressure plus boost exceeds 58 psi.
Supplies HPFP and Port Injection
The L2 supplies both the High Pressure Fuel Pump and port injection system. It can also provide fuel for a small wet nitrous system when the complete fuel system is appropriately configured for the additional demand.
A flow-through T-block is included for direct mounting on the HPFP inlet tube, providing the required connection for integrating the High Pressure Fuel Pump into the upgraded fuel delivery system.
Billet Fuel Rails
The 91-622 includes billet 2018+ Mustang fuel rails for proper port injection fuel delivery. The rails incorporate a mounting provision for the OE fuel pressure and temperature sensor, helping integrate the upgraded system with the required factory sensing components.
Fitting configuration changes when the Whipple fuel rail option is selected.
Retains Key OE Fuel System Functions
The Fore Innovations in-tank supply system retains OE fuel transfer, fuel level sender, and EVAP functionality. This allows the L2 system to provide significantly increased fuel capacity while retaining these important factory functions.
Upgraded Feed, Return and Filtration
The L2 includes upgraded feed and return fuel lines, high-capacity filtration, and a check valve as part of the complete system. A standard 88mm inline fuel filter is included along with 35 feet of fuel line and an extensive selection of billet hose ends, AN-to-ORB fittings, adapters, rail extensions, and mounting hardware for typical fuel line plumbing.
E85 Capability
The Fore Innovations L2 can be configured for E85 operation with the correct fuel pumps and filtration. E85 applications require F90000267, F90000274, or F90000285 fuel pumps AND Microglass SSD or stainless filtration.
Both the proper E85-compatible pump selection and the specified filtration are required to configure the system for E85.

- FC2 Controller with 6-Gauge Wiring: Operates both pumps simultaneously using factory control. Best for two smaller street-duty pumps or two large pumps in track applications where increased fuel heat is less of a concern. Includes 14' of 6 AWG power wire, 100-amp fuse, 3' ground wire, 7' 12 AWG pump leads, and sealed Delphi connector.
- FC3 Staged Controller with 4-Gauge Wiring: Independently controls the secondary pump from the primary pump using factory control plus a secondary trigger. Recommended for large dual-pump street applications to help minimize fuel heat. Includes 14' of 4 AWG power wire, 100-amp fuse, 3' ground wire, 7' 12 AWG pump leads, and sealed Delphi connector.
- Delphi Connector / Pigtail Only: Includes a sealed Delphi connector and 7' of 12 AWG pump leads. Installer is responsible for properly configuring the required fuses and relays.
Filtration Media
- Cellulose: 10-micron nominal / 14-micron absolute disposable element with aluminum endcaps and Viton O-ring. For gasoline and race gas. Recommended for Injector Dynamics fuel injectors.
- Microglass SSD Anti-Static: 12-micron absolute disposable, static-dissipating element with aluminum endcaps and Viton O-ring. Compatible with gasoline, race gas, E85, E100, M5, diesel, and other fuel blends. Recommended for Injector Dynamics fuel injectors.
- Stainless: 10-micron nominal / 26-micron absolute reusable stainless element with stainless endcaps and Viton O-ring. Compatible with gasoline, race gas, E85, E100, M5, diesel, and other fuel blends.
Fuel Filter Upgrades
- 128mm Filter: Upgrades the standard 88mm filter for increased filtration capacity and longer service intervals.
- Billet Mounting Bracket: Provides a secure, show-quality underbody filter installation while maintaining easy access for service.
- Filter Monitoring Gauge and Fitting: Monitors fuel pressure before the filter to help identify restriction. Increasing pre-filter pressure can indicate filter obstruction, which can reduce pump performance, shorten pump life, and increase fuel temperature. Includes a fitting for proper gauge orientation.
Additional System Options
- Honeywell Pressure Switch for FC3: 1/8" NPT male pressure switch designed for installation in the intake manifold. Must receive both boost and vacuum signals.
- Boost / Vacuum Manifold Kit: Includes Fore Innovations Boost / Vacuum Manifold, three 1/4" barb fittings, and four plugs.
Professional Installation and Custom Tuning Required
The Fore Innovations L2 is a standalone fuel system. Professional installation and a custom tune are required. Qualified installers and tuners must be capable of interfacing with the OE harness and Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM), understand proper component placement and hose routing, and configure the completed vehicle with factory-like fuel pump prime and on/off logic without error codes.
Fore Innovations supplies basic system schematics and detailed component-level instructions and can provide troubleshooting assistance regarding the performance and function of its system and components. Fore Innovations does not provide assistance with ECU integration or tuning, or elimination of alarm codes or Check Engine Lights (CELs).
Fuel Temperature and Fuel Level Warning
This high-capacity fuel system generates substantially more heat than the original fuel system. High-powered aftermarket fuel pumps generate considerably more heat than the factory pump, while the composite construction of the factory fuel tank acts as an insulator and retains heat.
The shape of the factory fuel tank also limits the pickup capacity of the upgraded system. The driver must therefore maintain a higher-than-normal fuel level in the tank at all times to help minimize heat-related damage and ensure adequate fuel pickup.

If you suspect your fuel pump(s) are damaged, Fore Innovations can help with diagnosis, corrective measures, and facilitation of replacement pump(s). However, only the original manufacturer of the fuel pump (such as TI Automotive, Walbro, etc.) will be able to evaluate whether or not you are eligible for a warranty claim due to a quality issue.
