Fore Innovations SN95 2V Level 2 Returnless Fuel System (55-502) - 1999-2004 Mustang GT & V6

The Fore Innovations SN95 2V Level 2 Returnless Fuel System is a 750+ RWHP-capable fuel system for 1999-2004 Mustang GT and V6 applications. The feed line is split through Fore's compact billet Y-block and routed to the rear of both billet fuel rails, allowing the rails to operate in parallel while retaining the factory electronic returnless fuel system.

High-performance Walbro/TI Automotive fuel pumps can be calibrated to work with the original PWM fuel pump control system. A modified or second Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM) is required. An upgraded electrical system and upgraded FPDM are not included and may be required depending on the application. A wiring upgrade is not required for applications making less than 525 RWHP.

Features

  • 750+ RWHP capable returnless fuel system
  • Dual fuel pump module
  • Retains electronic returnless PWM fuel pump control
  • Fuel rails routed in parallel
  • Feed line split through a compact billet 2-1 Y-block
  • Fuel supplied to the rear of both billet fuel rails
  • Requires a modified or second Fuel Pump Driver Module
  • Wiring upgrade not required for applications under 525 RWHP
  • Not compatible with pre-1999 ECU applications

Fuel Pump Selection

Fore does not recommend using 405 LPH or 465 LPH pumps in this dual-pump returnless configuration because their minimum output supplies too much fuel during idle and cruising conditions. Fore recommends using no larger than the F90000265 305 LPH fuel pumps with this configuration.

Returnless Power Considerations

Fore has supported more than 1,000 RWHP using PWM returnless fuel systems, but generally recommends limiting this configuration to approximately 700-750 RWHP on gasoline, with lower limits for E85 applications, to maintain driveability. Electronic returnless fuel systems react to engine fuel demand, which can make it difficult for the system to adequately respond to severe fuel demand changes from highly modified engines.

FPDM Requirements

Fore does not offer upgraded Fuel Pump Driver Modules. A second FPDM and pigtail harness can be sourced from Ford. Fore notes that some customers use an FC2 controller as a power supply for twin FPDMs.

Included Components

  • SN95 dual fuel pump module
  • 88mm inline fuel filter
  • Compact billet 2-1 O-ring Y-block
  • SN95 2V billet fuel rails
  • 20 feet of fuel line with 8 matching hose ends
  • 5 straight AN-to-O-ring fittings
  • 3 low-profile 90-degree AN-to-O-ring fittings
  • 6 hose straps with stainless mounting screws
  • 2 1/8 NPT plugs
  • Fittings, hose, and hardware necessary for typical fuel line plumbing

Fitment

- 1999 Ford Mustang GT
- 2000 Ford Mustang GT
- 2001 Ford Mustang GT
- 2002 Ford Mustang GT
- 2003 Ford Mustang GT
- 2004 Ford Mustang GT
- 1999 Ford Mustang V6
- 2000 Ford Mustang V6
- 2001 Ford Mustang V6
- 2002 Ford Mustang V6
- 2003 Ford Mustang V6

Available Options and Upgrades

Electrical Options

  • None: Base module configuration with approximately 6"" of fuel pump power wire extending from the hermetic seal.
  • FC2 Controller with 6-Gauge Wiring: Operates both pumps simultaneously using factory control. Best for two smaller street-duty pumps or two large pumps in track applications where increased fuel heat is less of a concern. Can control secondary pumps on a triple-pump module when a small primary pump is powered by the OEM harness. Includes 14' of 6 AWG power wire, 100-amp fuse, 3' ground wire, 7' 12 AWG pump leads, and sealed Delphi connector.
  • FC3 Staged Controller with 4-Gauge Wiring: Independently controls the secondary pump(s) from the primary pump using factory control plus a secondary trigger. Recommended for two or three large pumps in street applications to help minimize fuel heat. Includes 14' of 4 AWG power wire, 100-amp fuse, 3' ground wire, 7' 12 AWG pump leads, and sealed Delphi connector.
  • Delphi Connector / Pigtail Only: Includes a sealed Delphi connector and 7' of 12 AWG pump leads. Installer is responsible for supplying and properly configuring the required fuses and relays.

Filtration Media

  • Cellulose: 10-micron nominal / 14-micron absolute disposable element with aluminum endcaps and Viton O-ring. For gasoline and race gas. Recommended for Injector Dynamics injectors.
  • Microglass SSD Anti-Static: 12-micron absolute disposable, static-dissipating element with aluminum endcaps and Viton O-ring. Compatible with gasoline, race gas, E85, E100, M5, diesel, and other fuel blends. Recommended for Injector Dynamics injectors.
  • Stainless: 10-micron nominal / 26-micron absolute reusable stainless element with stainless endcaps and Viton O-ring. Compatible with gasoline, race gas, E85, E100, M5, diesel, and other fuel blends.

Fuel Filter Upgrades

  • 128mm Filter: Upgrades the standard 88mm filter to a larger 128mm filter for increased filtration capacity and longer service intervals.
  • Billet Mounting Bracket: Provides a secure, show-quality underbody filter installation while keeping the filter accessible for maintenance.
  • Filter Monitoring Gauge and Fitting: Monitors fuel pressure before the filter to help identify restriction. Increasing pre-filter pressure can indicate a clogged filter, which can reduce pump performance, shorten pump life, and increase fuel temperature. Includes a fitting for proper gauge orientation.

Additional System Options

  • Honeywell Pressure Switch for FC3: 1/8"" NPT male pressure switch designed for installation in the intake manifold. Must receive both boost and vacuum signals.
  • Boost / Vacuum Manifold Kit: Includes Fore Innovations Boost / Vacuum Manifold, three 1/4"" barb fittings, and four plugs.
