The DJM Suspension 5" Rear Lowering Kit (Part Number RK2507-5) is engineered specifically for 2007 - 2018 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks looking for an aggressive, properly engineered rear stance. This complete rear kit delivers up to a 5" drop while maintaining driveline geometry and suspension function.
To achieve this drop, DJM repositions the axle from beneath the leaf spring to the top of the leaf spring. This configuration is necessary because GM welded the forward spring hanger directly to the frame. The system works by flipping the axle and then raising it back up using an inverted shackle hanger, allowing a longer shackle to bring the truck down to the desired height.
This design provides either a 4 or 5" rear drop, depending on which hole is selected on the shackle. Adjustable axle brackets are included, allowing you to fine tune the pinion angle to eliminate driveline vibration and ensure smooth performance.
