True 4" Rear Drop for 1999-2006 Silverado and Sierra Long Bed
The DJM Suspension 4" Rear Lowering Kit (Part Number HS2598-4) is designed specifically for 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra Long Bed models. If a basic shackle is not enough drop, this traditional hanger and shackle combination delivers a true 4" rear drop with proper suspension geometry.
This system works by relocating each end of the leaf spring up 2" on the frame, resulting in a total 4" rear drop. By moving both mounting points, the rear suspension maintains proper alignment while achieving a clean, aggressive stance.
Note: Long Bed models only. Your rear factory shock mounts are staggered, with one shock mounted in front of the rear axle and one mounted behind it.

Why are two different rear shocks recommended?
These trucks use staggered rear shock mounts, with one shock positioned in front of the axle and one behind it. DJM recommends shock 1900 for the driver side and 2000 for the passenger side.
Will this kit fit Short Bed models?
No. This kit is designed specifically for Long Bed applications only.
