DSE Ford 9-Inch QuadraLink Housing - Torino Flange - Bare - 1973-1987 C10 / C15 - 071042DS

Give your 1973-1987 Chevrolet C10 or GMC C15 a purpose-built foundation for serious rear suspension and drivetrain performance with the Detroit Speed Ford 9-inch QuadraLink Housing. Part number 071042DS is engineered specifically to work with the Detroit Speed QuadraLink rear suspension system, saving fabrication time by providing the critical suspension brackets already TIG welded into position. Detroit Speed also widens the track width to allow the wheel and tire to be centered when using a 0-inch-offset wheel, making this housing an excellent starting point for a properly sorted Pro Touring or performance truck build.

The 071042DS housing features TIG-welded 3-inch axle tubes with .218-inch wall thickness for the strength and rigidity demanded by high-performance applications. Torino-style housing ends accept 2.5-inch-offset rear brake packages from Baer or Wilwood, while the housing can accommodate a conventional Ford 9-inch center section or Detroit Speed FN988 center section. An axle vent plus fill and drain plugs are included. This version comes in a bare finish, giving you a strong, application-specific housing ready to become the backbone of your custom C10 or C15 rear axle assembly.
