DSE Rear QuadraLink Sway Bar Kit - 3/4 Inch (042217DS) - 1967-1969 Chevrolet Camaro / Pontiac Firebird / 1968-1974 Chevrolet Nova

Add another level of rear suspension tuning to your QuadraLink-equipped classic with the Detroit Speed Rear QuadraLink Sway Bar Kit. Designed for 1967-1969 Chevrolet Camaro, 1967-1969 Pontiac Firebird, and 1968-1974 Chevrolet Nova applications equipped with the Detroit Speed QuadraLink rear suspension, part number 042217DS features a 3/4 inch tubular rear sway bar that adds roll control while maintaining the ride quality that makes a properly sorted pro-touring car just as enjoyable on the street as it is through the corners.

Instead of relying on a factory-style lower control arm mounting arrangement, Detroit Speed mounts the sway bar to the rear axle housing and chassis. This design allows the chassis to stabilize the rear axle and helps minimize deflection under cornering loads. The kit uses low-friction ball-style end links to allow free articulation throughout rear suspension travel, while split lock collars positively locate the bar. Two adjustment positions provide rates of 75 pounds per inch and 87 pounds per inch, giving you an additional way to fine-tune rear suspension response to suit your combination.
