DSE QuadraLink Rear Suspension Kit - Weld-In Axle Brackets - Double-Adjustable Shocks (041754-DDS) - 1967 - 1972 Chevrolet C10 / GMC C15
Transform the rear suspension of your 1967-1972 Chevrolet C10 or GMC C15 with the Detroit Speed QUADRALink Rear Suspension Kit. DSE 041754-DDS replaces the original truck-arm rear suspension with Detroit Speed's performance-focused 4-link geometry, delivering improved rear axle control, handling, ride quality, and stance. This version combines weld-in axle brackets for rear axles with 3-inch diameter axle tubes with DSE/JRi double-adjustable coilover shocks, giving performance-focused builds a permanent axle-bracket installation and extensive shock tuning capability.
Detroit Speed's patented Swivel-Link technology works with tuned high-durometer rubber bushings to let the suspension fully articulate with smooth, quiet motion without binding. An adjustable horizontal track bar precisely locates the rear axle laterally during hard cornering and provides roll-center adjustment at different ride heights, while the rear crossmembers add strength and rigidity to the rear body and frame section. With an adjustable 5.5-inch to 7.5-inch drop range, 200 pounds per inch coilover springs, adjustable upper shock mounts, C-Notch provisions, and DSE/JRi double-adjustable shocks, 041754-DDS gives serious street and performance C10 and C15 builds the hardware and tuning range needed to dial in both stance and suspension response.

Fitment Notes
DSE 041754-DDS fits 2-wheel-drive 1967-1972 Chevrolet C10 and GMC C15 trucks originally equipped with truck-arm and coil-spring rear suspension. It does not fit trucks originally equipped with leaf-spring rear suspension. The weld-on axle brackets are designed for rear axles with 3-inch diameter axle tubes. GMC applications must have been factory equipped with the optional truck-arm and coil-spring rear suspension. C20 and C25 trucks equipped with the correct factory suspension can also use this system, although Detroit Speed notes that load capacity will be reduced. Basic fabrication skills including measuring, cutting, and drilling are required. Detroit Speed identifies Holley fuel tank 19-185 as compatible with the QUADRALink rear suspension. This suspension system and fuel tank require custom exhaust routing.
FAQs
What is the difference between DSE 041754-DDS and 041753-DDS?
Both kits use double-adjustable coilover shocks and are designed for properly equipped 1967-1972 C10 and C15 trucks. DSE 041754-DDS uses weld-on axle brackets for axles with 3-inch diameter axle tubes, while 041753-DDS uses bolt-on axle brackets with the stock rear axle.
Will DSE 041754-DDS fit a truck that originally came with rear leaf springs?
No. Detroit Speed specifies this QUADRALink system for 2-wheel-drive trucks originally equipped with truck-arm and coil-spring rear suspension. It does not fit factory leaf-spring rear suspension applications.
How much does DSE 041754-DDS lower a C10 or C15?
Detroit Speed specifies an adjustable ride-height range of 5.5 inches to 7.5 inches of drop. The adjustable upper shock mount and included C-Notch components help accommodate the lowered stance while maintaining shock travel and additional axle clearance.
