DSE QuadraLink Rear Suspension Kit - Bolt-In Axle Brackets - Non-Adjustable Shocks (041753DS) - 1967 - 1972 Chevrolet C10 / GMC C15

Give your 1967-1972 Chevrolet C10 or GMC C15 the rear suspension geometry, control, and stance of a serious performance build with the Detroit Speed QUADRALink Rear Suspension Kit. DSE 041753DS upgrades the original truck-arm rear suspension to Detroit Speed's performance-focused 4-link design, delivering improved rear axle control and handling while retaining street-friendly ride quality. This configuration combines bolt-in axle brackets for use with the stock rear axle, non-adjustable DSE/Fox coilover shocks, and an adjustable 5.5-inch to 7.5-inch drop range for dialing in the truck's stance.

Detroit Speed's patented Swivel-Link technology works with tuned high-durometer rubber bushings to let the rear suspension articulate smoothly and quietly without binding. An adjustable horizontal track bar provides precise lateral axle location during hard cornering and allows roll-center adjustment at different ride heights, while rear crossmembers add strength and rigidity to the rear body and frame section. The package includes adjustable Swivel-Links, non-adjustable coilover shocks, 200 pounds per inch coilover springs, frame notch components, chassis brackets, and installation hardware. For a classic GM truck that needs more than just a lower stance, 041753DS provides an integrated suspension system engineered to improve the way the truck rides, handles, and puts its power to the pavement.

Fitment Notes

DSE 041753DS fits 2-wheel-drive 1967-1972 Chevrolet C10 and GMC C15 trucks originally equipped with truck-arm and coil-spring rear suspension. It does not fit trucks originally equipped with leaf-spring rear suspension. Most Chevrolet C10 and C20 trucks were originally equipped with truck arms and coil springs, although leaf springs were optional. GMC trucks commonly used leaf springs, so this kit only fits GMC applications originally equipped with the optional truck-arm and coil-spring rear suspension. C20 and C25 trucks with the correct factory suspension can also use the system, but Detroit Speed notes that load capacity will be reduced and recommends the weld-on axle bracket version for those applications. Basic fabrication skills including measuring, cutting, and drilling are required. Detroit Speed identifies Holley fuel tank 19-185 as compatible with the QUADRALink suspension, and custom exhaust routing is required when using this suspension system and fuel tank.

FAQs

Will DSE 041753DS fit a factory leaf-spring C10 or GMC truck?
No. Detroit Speed specifies 041753DS for 2-wheel-drive trucks originally equipped with truck-arm and coil-spring rear suspension. It does not fit trucks that came from the factory with leaf-spring rear suspension.

What shocks are included with DSE 041753DS?
The kit includes non-adjustable DSE/Fox coilover shocks. This version is designed to provide smooth ride control without requiring external shock damping adjustments.

How much does DSE 041753DS lower a C10 or C15?
Detroit Speed specifies an adjustable ride-height range of 5.5 inches to 7.5 inches of drop. The adjustable upper shock mount and included C-Notch components help accommodate the lowered stance while maintaining shock travel and additional axle clearance.
