DSE QuadraLink Rear Suspension Kit - Bolt-In Axle Brackets - Double-Adjustable Shocks (041753-DDS) - 1967 - 1972 Chevrolet C10 / GMC C15

Turn your 1967-1972 Chevrolet C10 or GMC C15 into a better-handling, better-riding performance truck with the Detroit Speed QUADRALink Rear Suspension Kit. DSE 041753-DDS replaces the factory truck-arm rear suspension with Detroit Speed's performance-focused 4-link geometry and pairs it with DSE/JRi double-adjustable coilover shocks for extensive suspension tuning. Bolt-on axle brackets work with the factory rear axle, while an adjustable 5.5-inch to 7.5-inch drop range lets you bring the truck down to an aggressive stance without giving up the suspension engineering needed to make it perform.

At the heart of the system is Detroit Speed's patented Swivel-Link technology. Combined with tuned high-durometer rubber bushings, the design allows the suspension to articulate smoothly and quietly without binding. An adjustable horizontal track bar precisely locates the rear axle laterally during hard cornering and provides roll-center adjustment for different ride heights. The package includes adjustable Swivel-Links, DSE/JRi double-adjustable coilover shocks, 200 pounds per inch coilover springs, frame notch components, chassis brackets, and installation hardware. The result is an integrated rear suspension package built to give a classic C10 or properly equipped GMC C15 the control, adjustability, stance, and road manners expected from a modern performance build.

Fitment Notes

DSE 041753-DDS is designed for 2-wheel-drive 1967-1972 Chevrolet C10 and GMC C15 trucks that were originally equipped with the truck-arm and coil-spring rear suspension. It does not fit trucks originally equipped with leaf-spring rear suspension. Chevrolet C20 and GMC C25 trucks originally equipped with the truck-arm and coil-spring suspension can also use the system, but Detroit Speed states that load capacity will be reduced and recommends the weld-on axle bracket configuration for those applications. GMC trucks must have been factory equipped with the optional truck-arm and coil-spring rear suspension. Basic fabrication skills including measuring, cutting, and drilling are required. The suspension requires custom exhaust routing. Detroit Speed identifies Holley fuel tank 19-185 as compatible with the QUADRALink rear suspension.

FAQs

Will DSE 041753-DDS fit a C10 that originally came with leaf springs?
No. Detroit Speed specifies this system for 2-wheel-drive trucks originally equipped with the truck-arm and coil-spring rear suspension. It does not fit factory leaf-spring rear suspension applications.

What makes the 041753-DDS shock package different?
DSE 041753-DDS includes DSE/JRi double-adjustable coilover shocks. The double-adjustable design gives the driver substantially more suspension tuning capability than the non-adjustable or single-adjustable versions of the QUADRALink package.

How much does DSE 041753-DDS lower a C10 or C15?
Detroit Speed specifies an adjustable ride-height range of 5.5 inches to 7.5 inches of drop. The adjustable upper shock mount and included C-Notch components help accommodate the lowered ride height while preserving shock travel and additional axle clearance.
