Drop your Square Body into a much more aggressive stance with the Detroit Speed Rear Speed Kit 2. Designed for 1973-1987 Chevrolet C10 and GMC C15 applications, 041649DS provides a complete rear lowering solution built around a leaf spring flip kit, frame C-notch, and non-adjustable drop shocks. The system lowers rear ride height approximately 5 to 6 inches while providing the axle-to-frame clearance required for a properly executed axle flip.
Detroit Speed builds the flip kit axle pads and plates from high-strength 1/4-inch-thick steel, while the C-notch is constructed from 3/16-inch-thick steel. Components are powdercoated black for durability, and electroplated U-bolts and hardware provide additional corrosion resistance. Two leaf spring pinhole locations in the axle pads provide adjustment for centering the rear axle, while the included C-notch, bump stops, drop shocks, and mounting hardware bring the major components together in one bolt-on lowering package.
