Designed for 1968-1972 applications using the stock rear axle, 041612-DDS combines Detroit Speed's patented Swivel-Link suspension technology with double adjustable shocks, springs, chassis bracing, and a tubular rear sway bar. The system is engineered to maintain optimum suspension geometry and tire contact throughout the full range of rear suspension travel, delivering the control, articulation, and tuning capability needed for serious street and performance driving.
Detroit Speed's patented Swivel-Links allow the rear axle housing to fully articulate without relying on noisy spherical heim joints. Pinion angle and wheelbase can also be adjusted without unbolting the links from the vehicle. The double adjustable shocks provide two independent adjustments and an extensive tuning range, allowing the suspension to be dialed in for driver preference and performance demands while maintaining excellent street ride quality. Combined with the chassis-mounted tubular rear sway bar, 041612-DDS provides a highly tunable rear suspension package engineered to complement Detroit Speed front suspension systems.
