DSE Rear Speed Kit 3 - Single Adjustable Shocks - Stock Axle (041611-SDS) - 1964-1966 GM A-Body
Give your classic GM A-Body serious suspension capability with the Detroit Speed Rear Speed Kit 3. Designed for 1964-1966 applications using a stock rear axle, 041611-SDS combines Detroit Speed's patented Swivel-Link suspension technology with single-adjustable shocks, springs, and a chassis-mounted tubular rear sway bar. The complete system is engineered to maintain optimum suspension geometry and tire contact throughout the full range of rear suspension travel, delivering the control and predictability needed for aggressive street driving and performance use.
Detroit Speed's patented Swivel-Links allow the rear axle housing to fully articulate without relying on noisy spherical heim joints. The design also allows pinion angle and wheelbase adjustments without unbolting the links from the vehicle. This single-adjustable version adds Detroit Tuned shock valving with rebound adjustment through the simple turn of a knob, giving you the ability to fine-tune suspension response while maintaining excellent street ride quality. Combined with the tubular rear sway bar, 041611-SDS delivers an adjustable, integrated rear suspension package designed to complement Detroit Speed front suspension systems.

Fitment Notes
Detroit Speed 041611-SDS excludes wagon applications. The bushing supplied with the kit may not fit some 1964 GM A-Body axle housings due to the overall diameter of the bushing. Detroit Speed offers a smaller 1.360-inch diameter bushing, P/N 99040249, for applications where the supplied bushing does not fit the rear axle housing.
