DSE Rear Speed Kit 3 - Double Adjustable Shocks - Stock Axle (041611-DDS) - 1964-1966 GM A-Body
Take your classic GM A-Body beyond a basic suspension upgrade with the Detroit Speed Rear Speed Kit 3. Designed for 1964-1966 applications using the stock rear axle, 041611-DDS combines Detroit Speed's patented Swivel-Link suspension technology with double-adjustable shocks and a tubular rear sway bar for serious street and performance driving. The system is engineered to maintain optimum suspension geometry and tire contact throughout rear suspension travel, giving the car a more planted, predictable feel when accelerating, braking, and attacking corners.
Detroit Speed's patented Swivel-Links allow the rear axle housing to fully articulate without relying on noisy spherical heim joints. Pinion angle and wheelbase can also be adjusted without unbolting the links from the vehicle. The double-adjustable shocks provide two independent adjustments and a broad tuning range, allowing suspension response to be dialed in for the driver, vehicle setup, and intended performance level while retaining excellent street ride quality. Combined with the chassis-mounted tubular rear sway bar, 041611-DDS delivers the adjustability and control expected from Detroit Speed's Rear Speed Kit 3.

Fitment Notes
Detroit Speed 041611-DDS excludes wagon applications. The bushing supplied with the kit may not fit some 1964 GM A-Body axle housings due to the overall bushing diameter. Detroit Speed offers a smaller 1.360-inch diameter bushing, P/N 99040249, for applications where the supplied bushing does not fit the rear axle housing.
