The factory Mustang fuel tank will not work with the Detroit Speed Mini-Tub Kit. A narrowed fuel tank is required, and Detroit Speed specifies part number 080126DS, which requires a Holley fuel pump. The rear axle used with this Mini-Tub Kit must have 3-inch O.D. axle tubes. The rear valence used on 1965-1966 Mustang GT models is not compatible with the Detroit Speed Mini-Tub Kit.
