DSE Anti-Squat Kit (040119DS) - 1967-1972 Chevrolet C10 with Truck Arms and Rear Coil Springs
Put more of your C10's power to work with the Detroit Speed Anti-Squat Kit, engineered to give the factory truck-arm rear suspension the adjustability needed for improved traction and acceleration. Designed for 1967-1972 Chevrolet C10 trucks with factory truck arms and rear coil springs, part number 040119DS combines adjustable chassis brackets with angled and flat lowering spacers to let you tune instant center, anti-squat, pinion angle, and rear ride height. The result is a much more tunable factory-style rear suspension without requiring a complete suspension conversion.
The front truck arm relocation brackets provide four pivot locations for changing instant center and dialing in anti-squat characteristics. Four 1-degree angled pinion spacers provide a pinion-angle adjustment range from +2 degrees to -2 degrees, while the included spacers can also be combined to lower the rear from 1/2 inch to 1-1/2 inches. Their slotted design simplifies installation and adjustment, and hard black anodizing provides corrosion resistance. New electroplated U-bolts and hardware are included, and the complete system installs using the factory truck arms with a 100 percent bolt-on design.
