DSE Front Speed Kit 3 (032093DS) - 1973-1987 Chevrolet C10 / GMC C15 Trucks

Bring modern steering response, tighter body control, and an aggressive lowered stance to your classic GM truck with the Detroit Speed Front Speed Kit 3. Designed for 1973-1987 Chevrolet C10 and GMC C15 trucks, part number 032093DS is Detroit Speed's most advanced front Speed Kit for this application. Rather than upgrading one component at a time, Speed Kit 3 combines matched suspension and steering components into an integrated 100% bolt-on package engineered to work together. The result is a 4.5-inch front drop with improved ride, handling, cornering control, and dramatically quicker steering response.

Speed Kit 3 combines 2-inch drop coil springs and shocks with 2.5-inch drop spindle assemblies featuring Made-in-the-USA Detroit Speed forged aluminum uprights and forged steel steering arms. A 1-7/16-inch diameter hollow tubular sway bar with a 0.188-inch wall is 127% stiffer than the factory sway bar for substantially improved roll control. The centerpiece of the Speed Kit 3 package is an all-new, not rebuilt, 12.7:1 quick-ratio steering gear featuring Detroit Tuned rack and pinion valve technology for the positive, responsive steering feel expected from a modern performance truck. Modern GMT800-style truck hub-pack wheel bearings provide dual 5 x 5-inch and 5 x 4.75-inch wheel bolt patterns and are designed around 1999-2006 Silverado brake architecture.
