DSE SpeedMAX Front Suspension System - Non-Adjustable Shocks (032082DS) - 1973-1987 Chevrolet C10 / GMC C15 SBC

Transform the handling, steering response, and stance of your classic GM pickup with the Detroit Speed SpeedMAX Front Suspension System. Designed specifically around the strength, weight, and demands of a truck platform, part number 032082DS combines Detroit Speed's exclusive suspension geometry with Detroit Tuned non-adjustable coilovers, rack and pinion steering, forged aluminum spindle assemblies, truck-specific tubular control arms, and an upgraded sway bar. Instead of adapting car-strength components to a pickup, SpeedMAX uses truck-strength hardware engineered to deliver modern handling and ride quality at a lowered ride height.

This 100% bolt-on system can be installed without removing the engine or body panels and can be mounted in the stock location or 1 inch forward for improved wheel-to-fender alignment. Detroit Tuned aluminum-body coilover shocks are paired with 550 pounds/inch springs, providing ride-height adjustment and spring-rate tuning while supporting a 4 to 6-inch drop. The non-adjustable shocks provide Detroit Speed-engineered damping without requiring external shock adjustments. An ADI Austempered Ductile Iron upper shock bracket delivers excellent wear resistance and fatigue strength, while forged-in-the-USA aluminum spindle assemblies use modern hub-pack wheel bearings and OE-style GMT800 brake architecture. Tubular control arms with Delrin bushings, stainless steel cross shafts with caster tuner bushings, and an upgraded sway bar complete a comprehensive front suspension package for street-driven and performance-focused Squarebody builds.
