DSE SpeedRay Front Suspension Kit - Double Adjustable Shocks - Bolt-In Coilover Mounts (032072-DDS) - 1963-1982 Chevrolet Corvette SBC / LS
Transform the front end of your C2 or C3 Corvette with the Detroit Speed SpeedRay Front Suspension Kit, engineered to bring modern steering response, suspension geometry, adjustability, and ride quality to the 1963-1982 Chevrolet Corvette. Designed specifically for SBC and LS applications, part number 032072-DDS combines Detroit Speed's exclusive suspension geometry with a bolt-in upper coilover mounting system, quick-ratio power rack and pinion steering, forged aluminum uprights, tubular control arms, an integrated splined sway bar, and double-adjustable DSE/JRi coilovers. The result is a complete performance-focused front suspension system developed for drivers who expect their classic Corvette to work as hard through the corners as it looks sitting still.
The foundation of the SpeedRay system is a powder-coated bolt-on cradle assembly engineered to improve suspension geometry while creating a rigid mounting structure for the rack and pinion. TIG-welded tubular upper and lower control arms use Delrin bushings, while forged offset upper control arm mounting brackets incorporate caster tuner bushings to optimize geometry and provide clearance for Gen V LT4 engines. DSE/JRi aluminum-body coilovers feature Detroit Tuned valving, ride-height and spring-rate tuning capability, and two independent shock adjustments with an extensive tuning range for dialing in street or performance driving. Torrington bearings and a spanner tool are included to simplify spring-height adjustments. Best of all, installation does not require removal of the Corvette's body or engine.

Competition Rack & Pinion Note
For competition applications, the optional DSE rack and pinion fluid transfer conversion kit replaces the hardlines on the DSE rack and pinion with -4 AN steel fittings. The conversion uses Teflon-lined hoses designed for the high-pressure requirements of the steering system and pre-crimped stainless steel fittings for connection to the -4 AN fittings.
