DSE SpeedRay Front Suspension Kit - Base Shocks - Fabricated Coilover Mounts (1963 - 1982 Chevrolet Corvette - SBC / LS) - 032070DS

Bring modern steering response, suspension geometry, and coilover performance to your C2 or C3 Corvette with the Detroit Speed SpeedRay Front Suspension Kit 032070DS. Engineered specifically for 1963-1982 Chevrolet Corvettes with Small Block Chevrolet or LS power, the SpeedRay replaces the limitations of the original front suspension with Detroit Speed's purpose-engineered geometry, quick-ratio rack-and-pinion steering, forged aluminum uprights, tubular control arms, and adjustable-height coilovers. This competition-oriented version uses fabricated upper coilover mounts, allowing faster spring changes while providing a serious foundation for street performance, autocross, and track use.

At the heart of 032070DS is a powder coated cradle assembly that improves suspension geometry while providing a rigid mounting structure for the rack and pinion. DSE/JRi aluminum-body coilover shocks feature Detroit Tuned valving and are paired with 550 lbs/in springs with an 8-inch free length. Although the base shocks are non-adjustable, they incorporate Detroit Speed's performance-focused valving while maintaining street-friendly ride quality. The complete system also includes a splined sway bar, aluminum sway bar arms, composite bushings, powder coated tubular control arms with Delrin bushings, caster tuner bushings, Torrington bearings, and a spanner tool for ride-height adjustment.
