DSE SpeedRay Front Suspension Kit - Single Adjustable Shocks - Fabricated Coilover Mounts (1963 - 1982 Chevrolet Corvette - SBC / LS) - 032070-SDS
Give your C2 or C3 Corvette the steering precision, suspension geometry, and adjustability of a modern performance car with the Detroit Speed SpeedRay Front Suspension Kit 032070-SDS. Engineered for 1963-1982 Chevrolet Corvettes with Small Block Chevrolet or LS power, the SpeedRay combines Detroit Speed's exclusive suspension geometry with quick-ratio rack-and-pinion steering, forged aluminum uprights, tubular control arms, adjustable-height coilovers, and an integrated splined sway bar. This competition-oriented configuration uses fabricated upper coilover mounts for faster spring changes and single-adjustable DSE/JRi shocks that let you fine-tune rebound damping with the turn of a knob.
The powder coated cradle assembly improves suspension geometry while providing a rigid mounting structure for the rack and pinion and incorporating integrated tie-down eyelets. DSE/JRi aluminum-body coilover shocks feature Detroit Tuned valving and are paired with 550 lbs/in springs with an 8-inch free length. Powder coated tubular upper and lower control arms use Delrin bushings, while forged offset upper control arm mounting brackets with caster tuner bushings optimize suspension geometry and provide clearance for Gen V LT4 engines. Torrington bearings and a spanner tool simplify spring-height adjustment, and Detroit Speed designed the system so the body and engine do not need to be removed for installation.
