DSE SpeedRay Front Suspension Kit - Double Adjustable Shocks - Fabricated Coilover Mounts (1963 - 1982 Chevrolet Corvette - SBC / LS) - 032070-DDS
Transform the front suspension of your 1963-1982 Chevrolet Corvette with the Detroit Speed SpeedRay Front Suspension Kit 032070-DDS. Engineered for C2 and C3 Corvettes running SBC or LS power, the SpeedRay combines Detroit Speed's exclusive suspension geometry with modern rack-and-pinion steering, coilover adjustability, forged aluminum uprights, tubular control arms, and an integrated splined sway bar. This version uses fabricated upper coilover mounts for the competition-style installation and pairs them with double-adjustable DSE/JRi coilover shocks for extensive suspension tuning capability on serious street and track builds.
The powder coated cradle assembly improves suspension geometry while creating a rigid mounting structure for the rack and pinion and incorporating integrated tie-down eyelets. Powder coated tubular upper and lower control arms use Delrin bushings, while forged offset upper control arm mounting brackets with caster tuner bushings provide suspension adjustment and additional clearance for Gen V LT4 engines. Best of all, installation of the SpeedRay system does not require removal of the Corvette's body or engine.

FAQs
What is different about the fabricated coilover mounts on DSE 032070-DDS?
This SpeedRay configuration uses fabricated upper coilover mounts rather than the bolt-in coilover mounting arrangement. The fabricated competition-style configuration requires a small amount of fabrication and is designed to make spring changes faster.
Are the shocks adjustable on DSE 032070-DDS?
Yes. This kit includes double-adjustable DSE/JRi coilover shocks with two independent adjustments, giving the driver a wide range of suspension tuning capability while retaining street-oriented ride quality.
Can ride height be adjusted with the SpeedRay suspension?
Yes. The included coilover suspension allows ride-height adjustment as well as spring-rate tuning.
Does the engine or body have to be removed to install the SpeedRay?
No. Detroit Speed specifically designed the SpeedRay so the body and engine do not have to be removed for installation.
Is DSE 032070-DDS intended for Big Block Chevrolet engines?
No. Part number 032070-DDS is the SBC / LS version. Detroit Speed uses a different part-number series for the BBC SpeedRay configurations.
