DSE Bare Front Frame - Single Adjustable Shocks - Powder Coated Control Arms (032039-SDS) - 1962-1965 Chevrolet Chevy II

Transform the front suspension and steering of your 1962-1965 Chevrolet Chevy II with the Detroit Speed Bare Front Frame 032039-SDS. Engineered as a bolt-in replacement for the original stock frame, this integrated performance system combines Detroit Speed optimized suspension and steering geometry with OEM-quality stamped crossmembers for improved structural rigidity. This configuration pairs a bare frame with black powdercoated control arms and single-adjustable coilover shocks, giving serious street, pro-touring, and track builds a modern foundation with the added benefit of driver-adjustable suspension response.

The 032039-SDS package uses aluminum-body single-adjustable coilover shocks with Detroit Tuned valving and externally adjustable rebound control. A simple turn of the adjustment knob allows the shock response to be tuned while maintaining excellent street ride quality. The system uses 400 lbs/in coilover springs with a 10-inch free length and incorporates TIG-welded tubular upper and lower control arms, Detroit Tuned power rack-and-pinion steering, an integrated splined sway bar with composite bushings, caster tuner bushings, and forged aluminum Detroit Speed spindles. Small Block Chevrolet and LS-series engines are designed as direct bolt-in applications, while the integral bay bars provide rigid hood-hinge mounting and can be concealed with the optional Detroit Speed Chevy II Inner Fender Kit.
