DSE Hydroformed Front Subframe - Powdercoated - Single-Adjustable Shocks (032005-SDS) - 1967-1969 Camaro / Firebird / 1968-1974 Nova - BBC

Put modern suspension performance underneath your Big Block-powered classic GM with the Detroit Speed Hydroformed Front Subframe. DSE 032005-SDS is a bolt-in replacement for the original front subframe that combines hydroformed frame rails, optimized Detroit Speed suspension and steering geometry, stamped structural crossmembers, power rack-and-pinion steering, a splined sway bar, and single-adjustable coilover shocks. Designed for everything from aggressive street driving to serious track use, this system delivers the rigidity, steering precision, suspension control, and adjustability needed to make a classic F-Body or X-Body perform at a much higher level.

This powdercoated version is configured specifically for Big Block Chevy applications with 650 lbs/in springs and an 8-inch spring free length. The single-adjustable aluminum-body coilover shocks feature Detroit Tuned valving plus externally adjustable rebound control, allowing suspension response to be fine-tuned with the turn of a knob while retaining excellent street ride quality. Hydroformed steel frame rails deliver high strength, stiffness, dimensional accuracy, and repeatability, while stamped main and secondary crossmembers reinforce the structure for improved chassis response under hard cornering and braking.
