DSE 2-Inch Drop Coil Springs - Front (031118PDS) - 1964-1974 Various GM BBC
Give your big block classic GM a lower, more aggressive Pro-Touring stance while improving front suspension control with the Detroit Speed 031118PDS Front 2-Inch Drop Coil Springs. Engineered for compatible 1967-1969 F-Body, 1968-1974 X-Body, and 1964-1967 A-Body applications, these performance springs are rated for Big Block Chevrolet engine combinations and provide up to a 2-inch reduction in front ride height. The result is a purposeful stance backed by improved ride and handling compared with soft factory coils.
The 031118PDS springs feature a 650 lb/in spring rate and 13.91-inch free length to provide the additional front spring support required for compatible big block combinations. Detroit Speed designed these springs around DSE Lower Control Arms, but factory lower control arms can also be used with application-specific differences in resulting ride height. On 1967-1969 Camaro/Firebird and 1968-1974 Nova applications using factory lower control arms, the vehicle will drop less than 2 inches. On 1964-1967 A-Body applications with factory lower control arms, the vehicle will retain the 2-inch drop.
