Give your fifth-generation Camaro a more capable and tunable front suspension with the Detroit Speed Coilover Front Conversion Street Kit 030320DS. Designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory front strut assemblies, this kit combines DSE/JRi high-performance aluminum struts with Detroit Tuned valving and coilover springs to improve suspension control while adding useful ride height and alignment adjustability. At the nominal design position, the system lowers the Camaro approximately 1.5 inches from stock for a more aggressive stance without sacrificing available strut travel.
Detroit Speed engineered the 030320DS Street Kit around an adjustable aluminum spindle bracket that allows ride height changes without affecting strut travel. Ride height can also be fine-tuned using the coilover adjusting nut on the strut body. The design provides increased negative camber capability compared with the factory struts, while removable inserts at the upper spindle mounting hole allow positive camber changes in 1/16-inch increments without relying on a conventional slotted mount that can move or slip. The package uses 250 pounds per inch springs with an 8-inch free length and non-adjustable Detroit Tuned valving for a performance-focused street suspension that does not require manual damping adjustments.

The Detroit Speed Front Camber Plate Upgrade Kit is included with the Race Kit but is available separately for the 030320DS Street Kit. The camber plate upgrade can only be used with DSE/JRi coilover shocks and is not compatible with original equipment struts.
