The rear portion of each connector is tapered to mate with the rear frame rails, and a laser-cut slot is incorporated to conform closely to the rear seat floor pan.
Unlike bulkier designs that hang prominently below the chassis, Detroit Speed engineered these subframe connectors to remain barely visible from underneath the car. Their integrated design does not interfere with factory seat attachment hardware or the installation and removal of the rear leaf spring pocket. The factory molded carpet can also continue to fit over the connectors after installation, helping preserve the interior appearance of the vehicle.
