Correct Rear Axle Position After Lowering
The S197 Mustang uses a panhard bar to laterally locate the solid rear axle beneath the chassis. Because the bar operates through an arc, changing vehicle ride height can cause the axle housing to move toward one side of the vehicle.
The CorteX Adjustable Panhard Bar allows its overall length to be changed so the axle can be moved back into the desired position. Proper axle centering is especially important on lowered performance Mustangs where suspension geometry and tire-to-body clearance need to remain consistent from side to side.
