CorteX Caster Camber Plates (CCP-50-1000) - 2015-2026 Ford Mustang
Gain precise control over front-end alignment with the CorteX Racing Caster Camber Plates for 2015-2026 Ford Mustang applications. Designed specifically for coilover-equipped Mustangs, these plates provide convenient camber and caster adjustment from the top of the shock tower, making alignment changes easier for street, track, and competition setups.
Lowering a Mustang changes front suspension geometry and can increase negative camber, while performance driving often requires additional negative camber to maximize tire contact during cornering. The CorteX Caster Camber Plates provide the adjustment range needed to dial in the front suspension for your vehicle's ride height, tire setup, and intended use.

Precision Camber Adjustment
Camber plays an important role in both tire wear and cornering performance. Lowering the Mustang naturally changes suspension geometry and typically adds negative camber. For a street-oriented setup, the CorteX plates can be used to help bring alignment closer to desired specifications and potentially improve tire life.
For performance driving, additional negative camber can help maintain a more effective tire contact patch as the chassis loads during cornering. Depending on vehicle ride height and configuration, CorteX states that approximately -3.0 degrees or more of negative camber can be achieved on a lowered Mustang.
Caster Adjustment
In addition to camber adjustment, the CorteX design provides a limited range of caster adjustment. This is intended primarily to help equalize caster from the left to right side of the vehicle, promoting more symmetrical handling and helping the Mustang remain straight and predictable during heavy braking.
Easy Top-Side Adjustment
The robust CorteX design places the alignment adjustments at the top of the shock tower. Once the caster camber plates have been installed, adjustments can be made without getting underneath the vehicle, simplifying alignment changes for track setups and vehicles that receive frequent suspension adjustments.
Heavy-Duty Construction
The main plate is manufactured from laser-cut cold-rolled steel for exceptional strength. An oversized spherical bearing constructed from hardened alloy steel with a Teflon liner is designed to withstand loads several times greater than those normally encountered during vehicle operation.
Fabricated components are bead blasted and finished with electroless nickel plating for durability and corrosion resistance. The spring seats are designed around 2.5-inch ID coilover springs and incorporate Torrington bearings with O-ring seals to provide smooth, quiet movement while helping keep contaminants away from the bearing surfaces.
