This architecture features a single 2.5-inch inlet located directly on the side of the muffler body, splitting cleanly inside to feed dual 2.5-inch offset outlets positioned on opposite end caps. By incorporating a high-velocity free-flow internal structure, this configuration maximizes exhaust gas distribution and minimizes backpressure while delivering the classic, aggressive Borla note respected worldwide.
Built to handle extreme thermal cycles and severe track abuse, this heavy-duty oval muffler is constructed from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel to ensure lifelong protection against rust, oxidation, and structural pitting. The inner chambers are packed with high-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material to manage volume and cancel high-frequency raspy notes without choking performance. It features a fully reversible layout for ultimate installation flexibility and comes with un-notched necks designed for clean, leak-free weld-in installation. Arriving in a natural mill finish, the 100% welded case can be brushed or polished prior to final assembly.
