The Borla S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust for the 1998-2002 Camaro SS/Z28 and 1998-2002 Firebird/Trans Am is one of the most unique systems ever produced for the LS1 F-Body platform. Designed for 5.7L V8 coupe and convertible models, this full 3" system delivers Borla's classic S-Type sound - deep, aggressive, and drone-free - while offering something no other system in the segment provides: an adjustable sound level. Using the included block-off plates, owners can fine-tune the system's SPL (Sound Pressure Level) to match their preferred tone.
This system features a high-flow straight-through multicore muffler design and dual 3.38" x 3" square intercooled polished T-304 stainless steel tips on each tailpipe, giving the rear of the car a distinctive, period-correct performance look. Constructed from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel, it offers superior durability and corrosion resistance compared to lower-grade alternatives. Ultra-smooth mandrel bends maximize flow and performance, while precision CNC manufacturing ensures a perfect fit on all 1998-2002 LS1 F-Body models.
