Borla engineers developed this advanced Cat-Back system to meet the unique demands of the mid-engine C8 platform. The system features Borla's patented Polyphonic Harmonizer and SwitchFire technology to optimize exhaust flow, improve performance, and create a rich, balanced exhaust tone unlike traditional systems.
The Polyphonic Harmonizer utilizes specially tuned internal pipe diameters and lengths to create harmonized exhaust frequencies for a full-bodied sound experience. Borla's patented SwitchFire technology eliminates the turbulent center intersection found in traditional X-Pipes, blending combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for smoother exhaust flow, improved power delivery, and enhanced sound quality.
This system includes both AFM/DFM valves and factory NPP dual mode exhaust valves to retain factory exhaust functionality. It is designed exclusively for vehicles originally equipped with the factory NPP exhaust system and should not be installed on vehicles without OEM NPP.
Strategically placed heat shielding helps protect surrounding components from excessive exhaust heat, while quad 4" bright chrome T-304 stainless steel tips deliver a premium appearance worthy of the C8 Corvette.
Constructed entirely from premium T-304 stainless steel, the Borla 140838 provides outstanding durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance. The system ships in two boxes and is backed by Borla's Million Mile Warranty.
