Engineered specifically for Mustang GT coupe models without Active Exhaust, this True Dual 3" exhaust system delivers Borla’s aggressive ATAK sound profile with zero unwanted cabin drone.
The Borla 140970BC features a Merge X-Pipe that improves exhaust scavenging, increases performance, and enhances exhaust tone. Inside the mufflers, Borla’s advanced Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology uses patented internal pipe configurations with varying diameters and lengths to generate multiple harmonized exhaust notes for a clean, rich, full-bodied sound.
This premium exhaust system is built entirely from high-quality T-304 stainless steel for outstanding durability, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting performance. Each muffler features dual 4" round black chrome T-304 stainless steel tips, giving your Mustang an aggressive quad tip appearance with stealth-inspired styling.
The system includes two 3" O.D. x 2.25" O.D. x 7" long adapters for clamp-on installation to the factory exhaust system. Do not use the included adapters for vehicles equipped with full 3" inlets.
Important: This system is designed for use with the Ford quad tip valance only. Vehicles originally equipped with one tip per muffler will require a replacement quad tip valance for installation. Ford quad tip valance part numbers are PR3Z-17F828-DA for models with parking sensors and PR3Z-17F828-CA for models without parking sensors.
For black chrome tip maintenance, Borla does not recommend using Stainless Steel Polish p# 21499. Clean tips using hot water and a microfiber cloth.
