Over time, original rear leaf springs sag, rust, and lose their ability to control axle wrap and wheel hop under acceleration. BMR Suspension's SP317 lowering leaf spring kit is engineered to give your classic GM muscle car an aggressive 3-inch drop while drastically improving handling, launch stability, and ride quality. Whether you are hitting the drag strip or carving corners on the street, this comprehensive kit ensures your rear suspension plants the power reliably.
Featuring a durable three-leaf design (2.5 inches wide with 3 inches of free arch) and a 190 lb/in spring rate, the SP317 is shot-peened for maximum structural durability. The kit comes complete with new rubber bushings and an installation hardware package including axle pads and U-bolts. Finished in a durable black powder coat. Proudly designed and made in the U.S.A.! (Note: Not compatible with Slide-A-Link traction bars.)
