Factory OE rubber bushings are manufactured with soft material and large air pockets designed to absorb noise, but under hard acceleration, drag racing, or handling conditions, they allow the differential to shift excessively. This unwanted deflection causes severe wheel hop, loss of traction, and a sluggish launch response.
Designed for street performance, drag racing, and handling applications, BMR’s BK058 kit replaces the entire factory OE rubber bushing setup with four two-piece, rigid 95-durometer polyurethane bushings. Polyurethane provides vastly superior resistance to deflection compared to stock rubber while withstanding exposure to petroleum products, road salt, and harsh undercar elements. This upgrade significantly reduces differential movement and pinion rise to ensure power gets put straight to the pavement. Finished in a long-lasting red finish, installation takes approximately 3–4 hours.
