Factory OE rubber bushings are manufactured with large air pockets to absorb noise and vibration, but they allow the differential to shift excessively under normal and aggressive driving, resulting in severe wheel hop and a loss of traction.
Designed for street performance, drag racing, and handling applications, BMR’s BK051 lockout kit installs directly over the factory rubber bushings. By filling the space between the mounting bolt and the bushing cup with rigid 95-durometer polyurethane inserts, this non-permanent modification drastically reduces differential deflection and pinion rise without a massive increase in NVH. Finished in a durable black finish with all necessary hardware included, installation takes approximately 1 hour.
