BMR Boxed Lower Control Arms with Polyurethane Bushings (BCA005H) - 64-72 A-Body
Launching harder, reducing wheel hop, and adding cornering consistency to your classic GM A-Body is easy with boxed lower control arms from BMR Suspension. Stock stamped-steel control arms with soft rubber bushings deflect heavily under load and absorb power instead of transferring it efficiently to the tires. CNC laser-cut from heavy-duty 1.5x3-inch, 0.120-inch wall boxed steel tubing, the non-adjustable BCA005H control arms provide ultimate structural strength, virtually eliminating control arm flex for improved repeatability on the street, strip, or road course.
Equipped with greasable, internally fluted 95-durometer polyurethane bushings and zinc-coated steel sleeves, these arms add a solid, responsive feel while retaining enough compliance to absorb road harshness and maintain acceptable NVH levels. The internal flutes ensure proper lubrication distribution to both inner sleeves and thrust surfaces for quiet, reliable long-term operation. Designed for street performance, drag racing, and handling applications, this bolt-on upgrade features a durable black hammertone powdercoat finish and installs in approximately 1–2 hours.
