Machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, this tensioner is significantly stronger than the factory cast unit. Featuring a custom spring rated at 35 lbs, along with hardened steel shafts, needle bearings, and thrust bearings, it provides smooth operation and long-term durability. This direct bolt-on replacement helps maintain consistent belt tension, improving boost stability and overall performance.
Performance and Reliability
With nearly double the spring tension of the OEM unit, this tensioner is designed to reduce or eliminate belt slip in high-performance Hellcat applications. This results in more consistent boost levels and improved horsepower delivery.
Included Components
This kit includes a 72mm 10 rib grooved billet pulley with a double bearing design, reducing weight while increasing durability. A billet dust cover and all necessary mounting hardware are also included for a complete installation.
