CFD-Developed Airfoil Design
The GTC-500 airfoil is shaped using Computational Fluid Dynamics to balance downforce generation with aerodynamic efficiency. Its cambered profile creates a pressure differential between the upper and lower surfaces, helping maintain attached airflow and minimize flow separation at higher speeds.
This design allows the wing to generate meaningful rear downforce without introducing excessive drag, making it well suited for performance vehicles that need additional stability without sacrificing too much straight-line speed.
Adjustable Angle of Attack
The wing can be adjusted from 0 to 15 degrees of angle of attack, giving drivers the ability to tailor downforce and drag to suit different circuits and vehicle setups.

Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber Construction
The airfoil is manufactured from pre-impregnated woven carbon fiber and cured in an autoclave using billet aluminum molds. This process provides excellent material density, strength, rigidity, and resistance to deformation under high aerodynamic loads.
The lightweight carbon fiber construction also helps minimize added mass while maintaining the stiffness needed for consistent aerodynamic performance.
Billet Aluminum Risers & Mounting
High-strength 10mm aircraft-grade 6061 billet aluminum risers provide a rigid mounting structure while allowing angle adjustment. Vehicle-specific carbon fiber bottom plates are used to integrate the wing securely with the CTS-V Sedan trunk lid.
The mounting bases are positioned near the edges of the trunk lid.
