CFD-Developed Airfoil Design

The APR Performance GTC-300 airfoil profile is developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics to generate substantial downforce while minimizing unnecessary aerodynamic drag. Its cambered design creates an effective pressure differential between the upper and lower surfaces while helping maintain airflow attachment and reduce flow separation at high speeds.

This efficient airfoil design helps increase aerodynamic load over the rear tires, providing additional traction and stability without creating the excessive drag associated with more aggressive aerodynamic configurations.

Adjustable Angle of Attack

The GTC-300 features an adjustable angle of attack from 0 to 15 degrees, allowing the wing's aerodynamic characteristics to be tuned for specific driving conditions, track layouts, and vehicle setups.

Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber Construction

The GTC-300 airfoil is manufactured from pre-impregnated woven carbon fiber and cured in an autoclave using billet aluminum molds. This manufacturing process produces excellent material density, strength, rigidity, and resistance to heat and stress-induced deformation.

Carbon fiber's natural rigidity helps prevent unwanted wing flex under aerodynamic loading, allowing the airfoil to maintain its intended profile for consistent performance at high speeds while keeping overall weight to a minimum.

Billet Aluminum Risers & Mounting

The wing is supported by angle-adjustable risers manufactured from high-strength 10mm aircraft-grade 6061 billet aluminum. These rigid mounting components provide the strength necessary to manage substantial aerodynamic loads while allowing precise adjustment of the wing.

Vehicle-specific carbon fiber bottom plates provide a secure mounting solution designed specifically for the ATS-V Coupe.
