The SM-10RE utilizes Apexs strongest Enduro Spec inner lip ever produced, reinforced with 50 percent additional material to better withstand potholes, harsh curbing, berm impacts, and off-track excursions. Apex also strengthened the front lip area to further improve impact durability under demanding motorsport conditions.
Each wheel is produced using a massive 10,000 ton forging process that improves the aluminum grain structure and eliminates porosity for exceptional structural integrity and long-term durability.
Stiffer Spokes for Improved Driver Feedback
The redesigned side-milled spokes are approximately 20 to 25 percent stiffer than Apex Sprint Line wheels. Increased wheel rigidity helps minimize camber loss during heavy cornering, improving steering precision, tire contact consistency, responsiveness, and overall driver confidence.
Extensive side-milling removes unnecessary material while preserving critical structural strength, helping keep rotational weight impressively low for a wheel with this level of reinforcement.
