D2 Dura-Dry Air Filter for Convenient Maintenance
The D2 Dura-Dry air filter features advanced non-woven synthetic fiber media engineered to balance airflow performance with effective filtration. Designed to filter up to 95% of particles, the media helps capture dust and debris while maintaining consistent airflow.
Unlike washable and reusable filters, the D2 Dura-Dry filter is designed for replacement when servicing is required. There is no need to clean, dry, or re-oil the filter. Simply replace it with a new D2 Dura-Dry filter and continue driving.
One-Piece Top-Mounted Heat Shield
The Rapid Induction system features a durable heat shield constructed from 18-gauge steel and finished in a wrinkle-black powder coat. The heat shield mounts directly to the lower half of the factory airbox, helping isolate the air filter from engine compartment heat.
This top-mounted design retains the lower factory airbox structure for a straightforward installation with fewer components.
Retention Groove Filter Mounting Interface

Computer-Designed XLPE Intake Tube
The Stage 1 Rapid Induction system includes a computer-designed, roto-molded intake tube constructed from heat-soak-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE).
The tube is engineered to provide a smooth airflow transition while connecting directly to the factory intake tube, maintaining compatibility with the vehicle's original turbocharger recirculation system.
Factory Turbocharger Recirculation Valve Compatibility
For 2024 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL 2.0L turbocharged non-hybrid models, Jeep uses a factory plumb-back recirculation valve that routes pressurized air from the turbocharger back into the intake tube.
Because this valve is permanently integrated into the original equipment intake tract and cannot be removed or relocated, aFe POWER designed the Rapid Induction system to retain the factory intake tube. This configuration maintains proper turbocharger operation while simplifying installation.
