Launching harder, reducing wheel hop, and adding cornering consistency to your S197 Mustang is easy with billet aluminum lower control arms from BMR Suspension. Stock stamped-steel control arms with soft rubber bushings deflect under load and absorb power instead of transferring it efficiently to the tires. CNC-machined from 1.25x2.5-inch billet aluminum, the non-adjustable ACA004 control arms provide a rugged yet lightweight structure that completely eliminates control arm flex and drastically improves overall vehicle performance.
Equipped with 2-inch greasable, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings, these control arms offer a solid, responsive feel while retaining enough compliance to absorb NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) for an acceptable ride quality. The bushings are internally fluted to evenly trap and distribute lubrication to the thrust surfaces, ensuring quiet and reliable long-term operation. Designed for street performance, drag racing, and road course applications, they incorporate the factory control arm offset and install in about 1–2 hours with a durable black anodized finish.
