Anderson Composites Type-SS Carbon Fiber Hood (AC-HD0506FDMU-SS) - 2005-2009 Ford Mustang

Give your Mustang a bold, performance-driven upgrade with the Type-SS carbon fiber hood from Anderson Composites. Combining a Cobra R-inspired power bulge with Saleen-style heat extractors, this hood delivers aggressive styling and improved airflow.

Constructed from 3K 2x2 twill carbon fiber using a vacuum infused process, this hood features a carbon fiber outer skin bonded to a fiberglass inner structure for strength and durability. A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors provides a deep gloss finish while protecting against fading and environmental exposure.

Additional Notes

  • Hood pins are required for safe operation
  • Heat shield required
  • Do not reuse factory gas struts; excessive pressure may damage the hood
  • Close hood carefully; do not slam or drop
  • Professional installation recommended

ANDERSON COMPOSITES DOES NOT SUGGEST REINSTALLING GAS SHOCKS/DAMPERS/STRUTS. OE gas struts place too much pressure on a composite hood!
