BMR Alternator Mounting Kit for LS1 (AB001) - 93-02 F-Body
Eliminate unused accessories and make room for turbo kits on your LS-equipped F-body with an Alternator Bracket from BMR Suspension. Factory engine accessories can severely limit the routing space needed for turbo exhaust plumbing or are simply unnecessary in dedicated race applications. CNC-machined from lightweight 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the AB001 allows you to securely mount the alternator without the need for complicated tensioners or excessive belt lengths, freeing up vital engine bay real estate.
Engineered for street performance, drag racing, and handling applications, this mounting kit is compatible with both standard and smaller diameter pulleys by simply swapping out the belt length. Note: This kit is specifically designed for use with an electric water pump, without power steering or air conditioning, and on aluminum blocks only (can be used on early 6.0L truck blocks by drilling and tapping one hole in the face of the block).
