10:1 Rising-Rate Fuel Management Unit for EFI Supercharged Applications
The Vortech Standard Fuel Management Unit (FMU) 10:1 (PN 6Z110-112) is a rising-rate, secondary fuel pressure regulator engineered for multi-point electronic fuel injected engines operating under boost. Installed in series with the factory fuel pressure regulator on the return line to the tank, this FMU increases fuel pressure in direct proportion to boost pressure - assuming the fuel pump has sufficient flow and pressure capacity.
The 10:1 calibration is intended for Vortech supercharger applications that require less fuel pressure increase than a 12:1 unit to maintain safe air-to-fuel ratios. It is commonly used with 24 lb/hr injectors (such as Cobra applications), making it a solid choice when injector sizing has been modestly upgraded but a rising-rate strategy is still preferred.
Like all Vortech FMUs, this unit is manufactured from CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a durable blue anodized coating for corrosion resistance and long-term reliability.
